Your next meeting, one click away.
Join a call, copy its link or find its location straight from the menu bar.
The idea
The menu bar already keeps your next event close by. We want to turn that glance into a useful meeting panel, with a direct way to join the call, copy its link or open the event’s details.
For in-person plans, the panel could show the location and a directions action. A small agenda or notes area would help you arrive prepared, while a snooze action gives you control over a reminder that arrives at the wrong moment.
The first step would be recognising existing conference links in events, including Google Meet, Zoom and Microsoft Teams. Quick joining shouldn’t require a new account connection for every service whose link is already on your calendar.
What we want to add
- Join a recognised conference link
- Copy the call link and open event details
- Show locations and open directions
- Compact agenda and reminder snooze actions
How it could feel
Your meeting starts in two minutes. Join from the menu bar and keep your notes close.
Getting the details right
If an event contains several links, the panel should make its choice clear. Missing or unrecognised call links need a useful fallback to the event itself.
